There are two ways you can do this: 1) You can select a carpet type by name, or 2) you can just "scroll" through them and preview the look first, then hit the "select" button. Changes only affect flooring in that room, so different rooms can have different carpeting. There are 11 different carpet patterns available, with more hopefully coming soon.

Intersting Painting (TS1 version)

Description:
This is not a typical interest-building painting you may have seen before. You can easily adjust any Sim's interest to any level yes, and also see various humerous reactions too! Choose any value from 0 - 10. If the Sim likes/doesn't like/doesn't care about your choice, they will react accordingly. Adjusting interests during gameplay makes it easier to strike up conversations with Sims of (previously) dissimilar interests, and make friends. Your neighborhood sims (family or visitors) will only view this painting if you direct them to. Non-player Sims on away-from-home lots (such as Townies, etc.) can view it and be seen clapping and even dancing as their minds come alive with a new-found interest. For better gameplay, this painting is backless. Updated Jan. 2005 for use on all away-from-home lots and all country-versions of The Sims.

Special thanks to artist Lynne Taetzsch for allowing the use of her "Play With Me" canvas for this object.

Requirements: None, however if you only have the original (c2000) Sims CD, with no expansions or Deluxe versions, the painting will just look really nice on your wall, with a Room 10 score. :)

Halloween's Bleeding Skull
